Saturday was awesome, for those of you who either weren't there or didn't know I was in a band we played on Saturday in the Pirate's Cove of Peabody's in Cleveland. It was awesome, Yusef turned eighteen, we played a fucking awesome show, my friend Mark let me use his GLP and I'm in love with it. Also we got people moving and cheering, it was probably one of the best feelings I've ever had in my entire life. But on another note, right after I played, I was able to see The Wonder Years, Comeback Kid, and Four Year Strong play, for free, because we played the same night, and it was fucking awesome.

Welll then!
My week has gone I suppose okay as a whole. On a good note, my guitar is fixed (just haven't grabbed it yet), classes have started, most of which I actually enjoy, and one of my best friends left for Texas.
So as for classes I have Intro to 2D Art, World of Business, Business Stats, and Art History. My favorite, yet most annoying class thus far is 2D. The reason for this being that I love learning about art theory. The reason why it blows a little bit would be the tedious "experiments" we have to do, like drawing a circle inside and making it seem like it's in front of or behind the square... Whatever, I guess it'll help in the long run? Who knows.
As for my guitar, the back strap holder totally pulled out of it and my good buddy Mark fixed it for me. Although it's done I have yet to have time to actually go and pick it up. That will happen soon because my band (Second Time Around [check us out on myspace, facebook, or twitter]) has a show on September 18th down in Kent with So Many Ways and some others. It should be a good time. 18+ though!
What with all of this good in my life, what would life be without some bad. Well I shouldn't say bad I suppose, but upsetting. One of my close friends Mike Follina left for Dallas, TX the other day. Not for vacation or anything like that, but he moved there, and it killed a lot of us. Tearfest 2010 at Yusef's house that night. It was crazy because I have never seen my friends cry and they've never seen me cry, it was weird to say the least but we are coping with it. I'm stoked for Mike to be one of the lucky few who got out of Parma, OH, this place claims too many lives. Usually people never get out of here. But he's got the opportunity to start fresh and have some good times in Texas. My favorite part about it is now I have a sick vacation spot. I can't wait to visit him.
All in all shits been decent. Also trying to record as soon as we possibly can, by we I mean Second Time Around. We're also trying to get some shirts done and other stuff for October 9th when we're playing with Four Year Strong, The Wonder Years, and Comeback Kid. Really stoked on that show, if you're interested in going let me know and I'll hit you up when we get the tickets!

SHOW me what you're made of!
Playing a show with my popfuckingpunk band Second Time Around (http://www.myspace.com/secondtimearoundcle) was fucking sick. Admittedly I was nervous before going on but, I'm pretty sure we did good. Not due to the fact that most of my friends said we were good, I expect that from them, even though most are brutally honest but, the fact that random people were saying we were good, like In The Day liked us, some of the Flying Free guys said we did good, and Bobby from The Promise Hero said he really liked us (granted he was plastered). All in all I'm pretty happy with the outcome of the show and big thanks to everyone who showed up and actually reads my blog.
There will be more shows to come from us and we are working on recording.
HUGE thanks to TimLeo for the big confidence boost via text after the show.
I'M GOING TO GET BACK INTO BLOGGING.

Jury Duty Recall
So I meant to post this about a week ago because Jury Duty fucking sucked. It's basically going downtown and working an 8 hour day for $20. What bull shit is that? And on top of that the buildings you're in are pretty cold so I was forced to wear a hoodie downtown, in like 80 degree weather. So that fucking sucked too. Then the case was a lame ass business dispute between like some Canadian phone company and Magic Jack. I got to see the Magic Jack dude though, his name is not Jack. However, he was quite the crafty business man. But all in all that sucked balls.
Jury Duty is something to wish upon your enemies.

Project Figured Out
So I have had way too much time on my hands as of late. Because of this I wanted to start a project. And now I know what my project will be. I'm basically just gonna build a pretty large box, like 8'x8'x8' out of wood. I will paint it white to start with, and then whatever colors come to mind after. Basically it's going to be for spray painting because, I'm going to be like 20 and don't feel like I am even good enough to go out painting, if I'm going to go out painting, I want it to look good so it's actually a favor to the community rather than a burden. I'll most likely invite anyone who wants to paint on it over as well. I'll just take photos of each piece after it's done and before it's painted over. Keep it in mind if you read this and actually are interested and maybe want to help fund it???? I hope to start building it soon, like in the next week or so.

Ewwww sticky....
Played way too much Halo 3: ODST in the past few days with Mike Poggi. Stayed up til 7 AM, slept til 9:30 AM. Went to recording, drums are done. Slept the day away when I got home. Later went to hang with Melissa and Mark. Recently checked my sticker flickr, and by recently I mean like ten minutes ago. So I'm going to make stickers again, it's decided. That's all.

Good things come to those who wait
This phrase seems to be a whole bunch of bullshit. Good things come to those who take risks and seize their lives. They come to those who actually try to make something of themselves and have goals that they are working towards. Although the phrase nice guys finish last is not entirely true either. Yes in order to get what you want in life you have to be somewhat of a dick, however you need to learn when to be a dick. I do not believe that phrase should be nice guys finish last, it should be timid guys finish last. There is no reason you can't be nice and be successful, it happens a lot, you just need to realize when a change needs to be made. That being said every one does change, regardless if you realized it yourself or not, there is always a change, may it be for the better or for the worse. I hate judging people for what they do unless it's something serious in my eyes; i.e. serious drug addiction/problem, betrayal or crimes. This summer I'm about to make myself take risks I wouldn't normally take.

Getting the run around
So today I went running with my good friend TimLeo. I would have to say that it sucked hard because it was really cold and my lungs hurt a lot. But I can't wait to keep running, and I really hope I stick with it throughout summer so that I will be able to get my side tattooed this summer. Also he told me to check out a site called emptees.com. If you haven't checked it out, go do it, there are some really good artists. One in particular is Mike C Hardcore, or at least that's his account on emptees. That was also Tim's find. He has a clothing line, the Hotlife, so go check that out too, I plan on getting a shirt or two once I get money. On a final note, I had my interview at Pac Sun and it went pretty well, hopefully I will be hearing from them sometimes this week. Yay money! Peace for now!

As my second year of college comes to a close...
I feel that it is time to reflect on myself and if I have actually gained anything as a person from this. Overall I would have to definitely say I have, I have definitely grown up a bit, and by grow up I mean that certain things that I used to find funny I now find immature. I also broke through a wall and have been playing my acoustic guitar for about the whole semester and have gotten to the point where I think I would be able to write pretty good songs with just a little more practice. This was a huge thing for me because I tend to get into something, i.e. stickers or graphic design and then stop doing it after about a month or so. However I was stumbling one day and found a site that was about the creative mind and how it tends to do that and you must be able to train yourself to stick with what you have started. I no longer have the site. But the summer is about to be very hectic and full of fun, I hope. I may get two jobs, I have some bills. I have two bands to definitely play in, and possibly some jam sessions acoustic style, possibly some other music with my good friend TimLeo. Also I plan on starting to make my own tee-shirts this summer, I don't have any intention of selling at this point in time, it's more for me than anyone else at this point, working to put stuff out that I feel people will buy is a pain, I would much rather make my own shirt for me and make it how I want it. However if you happen to see me wearing a shirt and you think it's sick, please by all means, ask me where I acquired it. I also plan on getting like three tattoos this summer which is going to a pain seeing as how I'm broke as of now. And speaking of tattoos I plan on running and actually getting my ass in shape this summer. Running with TimLeo, lifting Mike and Nick. So hopefully this summer holds shows, shirts, friends, fun, exercise, and more shows.

Oh, hey, I kinda forgot about you.
It's been like ages since I have blogged, and I don't really have anything to say. Two weeks until I go home for Summer and stay for school. I really need a job. That's basically all that I really have to say I think. Oh yeah, want a girlfriend, definitely not going to have time for one during summer though. Lots of music work to do, like a fucking shit load, need to work a lot, need to work on the project that I really want to get up and running. Need to actually put plans into action this summer and find someone that fits into my schedule well. Thanks and Good Night. (There you go TimLeo)

Listen Mikey Poe
Since I have gotten yelled at recently about not posting, here it is, by not popular at all demand. And since it's the end of my spring break it only seems appropriate that I do post something about my spring break and what a blast it has been.
Fist off, I would like to say that I can not wait for summer to start so that I can hang out with my friends from here, it's awesome.
Secondly I would like to say that I have so much left to accomplish in my life. I don't have any idea what I'm doing with my life, or where I am going, and I'm somewhat happy that it's that way because it leaves everything open to a lot of possibilities.
I would also like to say that I hope I am able to paint over the summer with Mike and ZigZag (Zach? unsure).
I may be taking singing lessons over the summer, but I have to find the right type, like for the style of singing, and no I don't mean screaming lessons, actual singing.
My CoD:MW2 disc got laser burn today =[ (I'm very close to my next prestige) I'll have a new one tomorrow.
Back to Toledo for some schooling, leaving around 5 or 6 PM, I'm sure you wanted to know that, I know I did.
One more thing, got to hang out with someone I really didn't hang out with much before, good stuff.

This one is soooo much easier!
Super Show? Thanks Tim, this is an awesome one.
Opening: City and Colour. My man Dallas Green is so good. I open with him because he is the softest I would have at this show probably, it will progress, but he is a grand musician.
Up Second: Set Your Goals. I am a super huge fan of set your goals, they're so good. This is the kind of ska I would want at my super show, perfect for me.
Third: August Burns Red. Time for some straight beatdown china smash breakdowns with ridiculous patterns. What is not to love about this band.
Headline: For the Fallen Dreams. They're definitely my favorite hardcore band right now. The reason why I end the show with them is because they would play both changes and relentless. Long set, great stuff.

Superband, whaddup?
This took me forever to think of who I would want in it, and this is what I have thus far, so....yeah, lets get to it!
Drums: Jon Karel from TNTLLY, "you just coppied Tim!", no, I didn't, he's just my first choice, it is because of Tim showing me a few vids and really getting me into the number twelve more that I think he's so good. He can play just about anything and will stay more towards the hardcore style.
Guitar: JB Brubaker from August Burns Red, I think that he's an excellent guitarist and August Burns Red is one of those bands I keep going back to. You may say all of their music sounds similar, but fuck you, it doesn't, it's great, and their breakdowns are the best and most creative patterns I've ever heard. Plus he's just sick at guitar.
Guitar: Thomas Erak of The Fall of Troy, again not copying Tim, he's just insane, and just retarded good, and needs to be in my super band because I've been a fan of TFOT since their self title release.
Bass: Matt Wong from Reel Big Fish, out of left field you may say? No, ska bass is definitely where the best bassist around are, they're incredibly fast and he would undoubtedly be able to keep up with Tom and JB
Vox: Chad Ruhlig from Legend, and the album Changes from For The Fallen Dreams, I love his vox. That is why he is in here
Vocals: Ace Enders, although he is kind of a softer singer he has very powerful loud vocals and I am a huge fan.
For those of you that don't understand why I have vox and vocals it's because vocals are clean, vox are screams.
Anyways that's my superband, you're welcome TIM!
Btw I'm super pumped for summer sandwich tour!

Windows 7
I think personally that this is actually the best operating system that Windows has come out with. XP was a great operating system, very simple, ran great. Vista..... well Vista just blew dick. However 7 is quite the step up, I do enjoy it, I just formatted my desktop into it today, and it's great, it feels very clean. Just my opinion I suppose. Dante's Inferno the game looks sweet as well, the book was good, I still wish to read the other two about heaven and limbo.

My English Class...
Fuckin' Rocks...nuff said, btw I have a twitter now, follow it, search me, adamohio woo!
This is for Tim, cuz I know he'll have something to say about it and my hypocracy.
Yes I do have a twitter, that I do update. Yes, I did say twitter was stupid, and yes I still feel like it's nothing special, and unimportant. However, I made it so that I could get links for archetype's twitters, and on top of that I can follow lights. Which is a plus, what if her and Dan split!? It'll no doubt be on her twitter. Also, since it's already made I might as well just leave it there... maybe one day I'll be popular enough to the point where people want to know what I'm doing... I doubt it but yeah... whatever. I know it's hypocritical Tim, and I'm sure it pissed you off, but in the words of FTFD... "what's done is done" and then again in the words of FTFD's gang vocals "WHAT'S DONE IS DONE!"

Lock and Key
So I was hanging out with some friends last night and randomly one came in and said he heard an analogy, I'm unsure if what we were talking about was relative or not, but it was a doozie. It relates to men being able to sleep around and it be okay and women not being able to. It goes as follows: Men have a penis, or a key, and women have a vagina, or a lock. Now if you have a key that can open a lot of locks, it's a master key, and you want to have that key. However, if you have a lock that can be opened with a lot of keys, well then that's a shitty lock, and no one wants that. This made me laugh, and since I haven't posted in a while I figured I would. Side note, I'm determined now to learn free bird, one of my roommates brought it up and said that it would be awesome if the last thing he remembered me by was freebird, seeing as how I won't be attending UT anymore next year. So every day at 5 PM, it's freebird time. We shall see how it goes. I'm also pumped to finish this layout for Archetype, I want to start on my personal layout and maybe some illustration work. On another side note I just noticed today that the "book" I ordered for English turned out to be an audio book, smart move on my part...

Good stuff, 1000 on call of duty: modern warfare 2 all thanks to ashley pohlod, whom I haven't actually met in person ever. She posted that she got 1000 on it and I was like "whaaat??" and she was like I'll help, and she did, it was awesome. Second 1000, third 100%. Good day.

Teach me!
Someone fucking teach me how to get good at NHL 10. Someone also teach me how to not be so selfconscious about a lot of things. Trust me, there are a lot. I need to be more social. Fuck.

NHL 10
Great game, gotta figure out how to shoot effectively and check effectively. My shots never go in, like ever, and my checking is weak to be nice. Ugh.

Time to be productive.
My spring semester consists of twelve credit hours, and idk how I feel about it. I have a lot of time to do whatever I want to pretty much, I feel like I should use it to make sure I get good grades, and develop skills I really want such as art and music. A bunch will be spent playing games, this I know. I like NHL 10 a lot, but I suck at it. Also being without a lady friend and this far from my close friends...blows.

Fifteen did you say? Well that's too far, let's make it twelve.
So I was going to have fifteen credit hours this semester, however the drawing class that I was going to take is all the way downtown at a different campus, so fuck that. Instead I have twelve, one online class, two classes MW and one class TR (using R for Thursday is stupid in my opinion). It's going to be a super easy semester because the four classes I have are English, Stats, Macro Econ, and a Business class that's online. I think I'm going to take real time and effort into honing my own skills such as guitar, drawing, etc.
First day of classes here I come!

Post stress
I haven't posted in a while, I'm unsure if that is good or bad, however I'm still going to make this one quick. I have roughly a week left at home, which is both good and bad. On one hand I enjoy seeing my friends, although some have gone back to school, and on the other I can't stand living with my parents. But other than that I just need to get my sleep schedule back on track, this staying up til 8 o'clock A.M. is not going to work hahah. That's all though.
